Platform Data
ConverseKit is a Voice AI platform that enables voice agents to make and receive calls, process conversations, and integrate with Salesforce and other systems. To provide these capabilities, we process and store certain data as described below.
1. Assistants
When customers create Voice AI Assistants, we store configuration details, prompts, templates, knowledge base content, and conversational settings used to train and operate each assistant. This data is retained as long as the customer maintains the assistant.
2. Calls
To provide the voice AI service, ConverseKit processes call audio in real-time. Collected data may include:
- Call parties: Phone numbers or IPs involved in the call
- Call metadata: Start/end times, duration, call status (answered, missed, failed)
- Call media: Audio recordings (if enabled)
- Transcripts: Speech-to-text transcriptions of the call
- Call logs: Conversation flow, AI responses, and outcomes
Recordings and transcripts may be used to train and improve the AI in compliance with applicable laws and customer configurations.
3. Credentials
To connect with third-party services (e.g., telephony, speech APIs, or Salesforce integrations), ConverseKit securely stores credentials such as API keys or tokens. These are encrypted and accessible only to the systems that require them.
4. Phone Numbers
To enable inbound and outbound calling, ConverseKit provisions and stores phone numbers linked to customers, including metadata such as type (local, toll-free), provider, and assignment.
Use of Data
Exaltlink Inc. uses the collected data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Notify users about changes
- Allow interactive features
- Provide customer support
- Monitor and analyze usage
- Detect and prevent issues
- Fulfill contractual and billing obligations
